Councillors in Winchester have released figures on crime, fires and road accidents in a combined report for the first time.
City council figures show there has been a 3% rise in crime, with an increase in criminal damage and violent crimes. Whilst car offences and burglaries fell.
The report also identified that males between 16 and 21 were most likely to inflict violence.
Councillors, with the help of Hampshire police, will aim to create a strategy to make the city safer tonight.
