Hello, I am Emma and i have never used a blog before..and find it all rather odd! I just turned 20 and in my first year at Winchester studying BA Journalism and Creative Writing. I am really enjoying the experience as i hated my first go at uni last September. I went to Portsmouth and studied Sociology and Media for little more than a week!! oh dear. I took a year out and worked..then spent all of it on clothes and now commute to Winchester everyday from Newbury. Which is about 25 miles from Winch and 30 minutes away from Reading.
I thought i wanted to be a Journalist before i began the degree, but now i am not so sure. I have no clue what i want to do but i will have to say (with shame) that i don’t think Journalism is right for me

I am finding People and Politics tricky to grasp at the moment as i have had little interest in the Government for as long as i can remember. Although i am looking forward to learning about a topic i know little about and i am up for the challenge!
